Workshop: Rise to Olympic Gold
Evan Lysacek is a Two-time US Champion, Two time Four Continents Champion, Skate America Champion, ISU Grand Prix Final Champion, 2009 World Champion, and at the 2010 Vancouver Games, he became the first US Male Figure Skater in 22 years to win Olympic Gold. As the most decorated and consistent US Figure Skater of the last decade, Evan has a clear vision of what it takes to succeed on the ice. He has translated that vision into success off the ice as well, securing corporate sponsorships from Coca Cola, AT&T, Deloitte, Smuckers, Vera Wang and Toyota and competing on the hit TV show, Dancing with the Stars. In this workshop, Evan will speak about the development of his personal brand and his struggle to maintain a clear brand identity in the face of competing demands from sponsors, fans and his continued athletic pursuits.
